Appoints Tesch To
Central Texas Regional Mobility Council

AUSTIN - Gov. Rick Perry today announced the appointment of Bob Tesch of Cedar Park to the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority for a term to expire Jan. 17, 2005. Regional mobility authorities were approved by Texas voters in 2001 as a way to accelerate development and financing for critical transportation projects.
Tesch, who will chair the authority, is the owner of Tesch & Associates, a real estate development company, and Oakmont Retirement Services. He serves on the board of the Cedar Park Economic Development Corporation and is a former Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce board member. Tesch also served on the 2001 Cedar Park Citizens' Bond Task Force and is a member of the Williamson County Alliance. He helped found the Texas Assisted Living Association. Tesch is a veteran of the Navy and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
