David and Linda are invited to attend a two-day Grassroots Activist School presented by The Leadership Institute (Arlington, VA) in Houston. This is the hotel where they both stayed and attended the program. To their surprise several of the attendees and class sponsors knew about their CorridorWatch.org efforts and successes. They were even taken to dinner by the program coordinators.  (07.18.04)

The classes were excellent with professional and very experienced instructors from Arizona (lobbyist), Austin (campaign strategist), and Washington, DC (fundraiser), among others. Funded by a private grant, all course fees, materials, and even lunch was provided at no cost to David and Linda.
