Rain Creek Farm Truck,
trailer, backhoe and concrete steps arrive at Rain Creek Farm. These steps
are from in front of the old Fayetteville undertaker's house (Church at Market)
next door to the house where David's grandmother, Raeline Stall lived on Market
Street. They're solid concrete that was formed and poured in place.
We saved these steps from destruction by purchasing them and having them moved
to our farm. (09.02.02) |

Rain Creek Farm The backhoe
was positioned to set the steps alongside our road between the Jurecka Farmhouse
and the Scheel House near the fence and gate towards the barn. This is a
position where the steps can sit until such time we are ready to move them to
the rear of the farmhouse. (09.02.02) |

Rain Creek Farm The steps
are sitting on the trailer with pipe rollers between them and the trailer.
The backhoe is used to lift as the truck pulls the trailer out from under them. (09.02.02) |

Rain Creek Farm Linda
watches as the chain is twisted and reattached to the backhoe bucket so that the
steps can be turned 180-degrees. (09.02.02) |

Rain Creek Farm And there
they are! These steps look like a lot of concrete work that was done in
Fayetteville around 1930. (09.02.02) |
