Farm Construction Continues

David started just after 7am by stretching a level line around the posts. This
provided a reference mark on each post so that the roof will have the proper
slope and the wall stringers will be level. (07.21.02) |

Tony checks the progress and smells the cordless drill after a brace is placed
between the posts of the back wall. (07.21.02) |

A wire stretcher is used to place tight diagonal wires between the back wall
posts. These wires will squeeze the brace and stiffen the shed.

Now the roof is starting to take shape. These and additional stringers
around the top of the shed are attached to the posts with lag screws.

Center rafters are on 24-inch centers to accommodate corrugated tin.

Here the framing is complete. The lower stringers are nailed into place
and will provide for the attachment of vertical corrugated tin panels. Two
of the posts will need to have the tops cut before the roof tin can be
