After work Wednesday night David sunk two fence posts. Eleven will be
required to complete the pen. This morning, David started at 7am and put
this fence post on our property line. (07.04.02) |

At each point that the fence starts or ends, a double set of fence posts are
required. A horizontal brace will be placed between them and a tensioned wire will transfer the pull of the fence to the ground. (07.04.02) |

Using horse wire (no barbs) a tension wire is strung diagonally between posts.
You can also see that the gate has been hung, although it won't be adjusted
until all the fencing is complete. (07.04.02) |

Well, we ran out of daylight! It's starting to look like a fence.
Still two posts short of being ready for fence wire. We'll use a horse or
field fence material (like hog wire) it is a wire mesh with small openings to
keep small animals on their side of the fence. It also doesn't have barbs
that could scar the donkeys or poke the kids. (07.04.02) |
