See More of This Topic Rain Creek Farm At each point that the fence starts or ends, a double set of fence posts are required. A horizontal brace will be placed between them and a tensioned wire will transfer the pull of the fence to the ground. In the background is the blacksmith shop. At the corner is a board gate that leads to the house. The pen fence will leave a 4-foot path along the building for access from the house and backyard.
