Toll & Corridor Documentary
San Antonio film maker William Molina has
produced this excellent 99-minute documentary.
It reveals the extent to which the citizens are
being shut out of the decision making process in
Texas transportation.
CorridorWatch is not affiliated with Storm
Pictures and holds no financial interest in the
film whatsoever.

You
Are Invited to Attend A Senate Committee
Hearing at the Capitol - 8:30am,
Thursday, March 1st
CorridorWatch.org calls on all
members to attend this public hearing.
It is extremely important that you
and everyone else who has a concern with
toll roads, public private partnerships, and
especially the Trans Texas Corridor attend
this public hearing and if possible offer
testimony to the Senate Committee.
This hearing represents the very first time
that our state government has asked for
meaningful public input on the Trans Texas
Corridor.
While you are invited to speak, it is not
required to send a message to the Senate.
Your presence with a CorridorWatch lapel
sticker (provided for you that morning) will
demonstrate our collective strength and
mutual concerns.
CorridorWatch leadership will arrive at the
auditorium by 8:00am. The Capitol Extension
Auditorium is located at the Capitol on
Level E.1.
To be most effective we need your
support.
It may be the single most important thing
that you can do this year.

Are New Jersey Officials Smarter Than
Texas Officials? Maybe.
On January 31, 2007, Rutgers University
Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning
and Public Policy presented a program
titled, "Turnpike for Sale?
Privatization and the Public Interest."
The featured speaker was Professor
Joesph Giglio of Northwestern
University. While Professor Giglio's
presentation was interesting, the real
surprise was hearing the panel speakers
that followed.
We were shocked to hear public officials
who are actually concerned about the
down-side of privatization and who are
not rushing headlong into signing a
deal. If only our officials were as
willing to openly discuss the issues! We
recommend that you watch the podcast
video of State Treasurer Brad Abelow and
Transportation Commissioner Kris Kolluri.
But if you only listen to one speaker,
make it Assemblyman John Wisniewski,
wow.
