Last Tuesday an estimated 800 filled the Community Center in LaGrange, Texas, to hear Department of Transportation officials explain the Trans-Texas Corridor.

Members of the public and a growing number of local government officials across the state are concerned about the impact the Corridor will have to their communities.

During the LaGrange meeting, organizers of CorridorWatch.org a grassroots opposition to the project spoke to the officials and the audience expressing their concerns about the Corridor. Those comments received standing applause from the audience.

The CorridorWatch organization receives program requests from across Texas and today, founders David and Linda Stall will be speaking in Victoria. They can be heard at 7pm tonight at the Victoria Electric Cooperative, located at 102 South Ben Jordan Street in Victoria.
