Columbus

Headline of the Banner Press announces David's removal as Columbus City Manager. At their very first council meeting (June 1, 2004), a special meeting eight days after being sworn in, the new council terminates David's contract. At the time of termination David had not yet had a single conversation with any of the new councilmen.
