While only one of Santiago's sixty-six albums was recorded using a piano accordion he demonstrated his skill on Mrs. Henkhaus' instrument. Santiago's brother Flaco Jimenez is also a famous accordion player who prefers more modern music. Flaco is a five time Grammy Award winner who recorded such popular tunes as "Who Were You Thinkin' Of" and "(Hey Baby) Que Paso" with the Texas Tornados.
