Padua Fire Perimeter

Once again Mt. Baldy has escaped destruction from a forest fire.  Unfortunately, many homes in Claremont were not so lucky.  This map from the California Mountain Area Safety Taskforce shows the perimeter of the Padua fire that claimed about 50 Claremont homes last Sunday.  The fire burned within 5,000 feet of the house where David and Linda had lived in Claremont.  (10.29.03)
