The storm has passed and left us with lots of water and a little wind damage.  Our mailbox flag was snapped in the strong winds.  (02.22.03)

On the top chart the green boxes indicate the actual river level.  The purple line is the forecast river stage.  The red line, at 35-feet, is the Flood Stage at Columbus.  The National Weather Service forecasts the river to crest at near 37-feet today.  It would take 40-feet to have any noticeable impact on the City of Columbus.

The second chart is the real-time USGS river gauge data from the East River Bridge in Columbus captured at 10:00am this morning.  (02.22.03)

David shovels off the high spots and fills the holes while the sand and gravel are still well soaked.  As the holes are filled the displaced water runs down the road towards our creek.  (02.22.03)
