Covered stock pens are now occupied by shops and
restaurants. This was once the biggest, busiest hog and sheep marketing
center in the Southwest. More than 83 million head of hog and sheep were
sold here. (10.19.02) |

This huge covered area was built for hogs and sheep.
Unlike the cattle pens and runs, these buildings were paved with 500,000 bricks.
