Rain Creek Farm Sunday
started off cool and ended hot. Time to mow the yards. After only a
few passes in the front yard the mower broke down (vibration & engine knock, not
good). Fortunately it's under warranty and we'll just take it to the John
Deere dealership. But the mowing must go on, so David mowed everything
today with the lawn tractor. (09.22.02) |

Called a 'hotwire' this electric cross fence will
keep the donkeys where they belong. There are three small metal wires
in this bright yellow plastic cable. (09.22.02) |

A path for the hotwire is mowed through the
weeds. This cable runs between the blacksmith shop (left) and
chicken coop (right). (09.22.02) |
