Scheel Farm House This is the 'front' of the Scheel House as it faces the Farm-to-Market Road. It was 90F most of the day and work was slow. The previous owners effort to enclose the porch to create two more bedrooms has been removed along with the exterior and interior wall studs. (04.28.02) [Olympus C-3040] This circa 1900 photo of the Scheel House shows the changes since then. The photo above has the added 8x12 bathroom on the right end of the house. The porch has been extended to the end of the original house and the roof pitch to the porch changed to provide a higher ceiling. |
