Victorian Fence & Millworks We've started 'decorating' the front window of the Sarrazin.
As you can see we have added a picket fence. David has made a paper sign
with the CAD program on the computer and will paint the same sign on the glass
so that we can take down the temporary paper version soon. We have also added
lighting behind the fence and curtain to attract attention at night as well. (11.05.00) |

Victorian Fence & Millworks Driven by a 2 horsepower
motor, two knives cut the picket shape while a chain drive moves the entire
table of picket blanks through the machine (this is David's design). (11.01.00)

head and knives. Of course it takes two passes to cut both sides. (11.01.00)

Victorian Fence & Millworks With the recent
modifications, the cuts are smooth and ready for the next step, pointing.
Note that the rough edge on the right side of the curve is removed during the
pointing process. (11.01.00)

Victorian Fence & Millworks Here are finished pickets that will be put into a radial saw jig to produce
precision points. Note that this is a mixed run of cedar and pine pickets that
will be used for lumberyard samples and the fence we put in the Sarrazin window. (11.01.00)
