our boat from Newport Beach to Avalon, a 75-minute high speed (34 MPH) excursion
to Santa Catalina Island. Linda's smiling face as we leave the dock early

David visited the Island many times while growing up in Southern California.
Several of his visits were aboard the family sailboat Nord Stjärnan. A
few trips were aboard the MV Wanda with his neighbor and friend Tom
