Police Raid

David organized a raid that netted 174 arrests and six charged with promoting an endless chain scheme on October 30, 1986.  The pyramid investment scheme was called "airplane."  The raid was televised on Houston's ABC affiliate KTRK-TV Channel 13.  At the end of the year Channel 13's Marvin Zindler named David as his Police Officer of the Year.  This newspaper article appeared in the Houston Post, October 31, 1986.  (10.31.1986)
