Chrysler Air Raid Siren atop the
Homestead Municipal Power Plant, Homestead, Florida.

This siren was located on the
roof of the
Homestead Municipal Power Plant in
Homestead, Florida. This siren was part of the 1950's Dade County
warning system. 13-2
engine cowling. If you look very closely you can see the "CHRYSLER"
lettering on the frame under the compressor and propeller shaft cowling.
This siren is reported to have been removed in the summer of 2003.
It's final fate is unknown.
