The lever that is standing straight up is the clutch.  In this upright position the clutch is engaged.  Moving the lever towards the compressor (right) about 22-degrees over disengages the siren clutch.  The cone shaped screen at the right is the air intake on the compressor.  Not the battery removed from the siren, it bears a Los Angeles County label.  Sadly restoration of this siren was too much of a project and it was scrapped.  This siren is identical to BigRed™.
