Chrysler Air Raid Siren once atop a 40-foot tower in Lomita Park, Lomita, CA circa 1999

Here the siren is being removed from the tower at Lomita Park, Lomita, CA.  Note the davit at the front left corner of the platform.  This davit was used to hoist up fuel and supplies.  Sadly restoration of this siren was too much of a project and it was scrapped.
