Another "super siren." located in the Bronx, was tested yesterday for the first time in conjunction with the regular weekly teat of the city's permanent air raid warning devices. Each borough now has one huge howler in service.

The newest 115 horse-power siren is on the south tower of the Roman Catholic Church of SL' Nicholas of Tolentine, Fordham Road and University Avenue.

Observers at fifty-three locations reported it was inaudible at eight points, namely, in the sections of Hunts Point. Mott Haven. Melrose, Morrisania, Morris Heights, Baychester and Norwood. It was "loud" at fifteen spots in the general area of Dyckman Street and upper Riverside Drive both in Manhattan.  Police in New Jersey towns bordering the Hudson River also reported hearing the newest siren.
