Houston man to head transportation panel

Texas Transportation Commission member Ned Holmes of Houston will lead a group that aims to influence debate in Congress over how to reshape federal transportation policy.

The Transportation Transformation will include 20 charter members, including the states of Texas, Indiana, Utah and Florida, and opposes rules that would restrict the use of private toll roads.
