Texas Department of Transportation Notice of Intent - Contract No. 86-848P5006. The Texas Turnpike Authority Division (TTA) of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) intends to enter into one contract with a prime provider, pursuant to Texas Government Code, Chapter 2254, Subchapter A, and 43 TAC 9.30-9.43. The work to be performed will include a broad range of professional Corridor Engineering (CE) services and/or CE project management services necessary to oversee the procurement and program management of Trans-Texas Corridor 35 (TTC-35). As CE, the selected provider will oversee and supervise TTC-35 Sections Engineers and facility developers and/or perform a wide array of services relating to: procurement, contracting, planning, design, construction management, maintenance, or operations of multi-modal corridors. These could include multi-modal: transportation systems planning, environmental studies, schematic development, roadway and railway design, traffic engineering and operations studies, traffic operations design, hydraulic design and analysis, construction management, geotechnical services, surveying and mapping, architecture, quality control and quality assurance responsibilities, and other miscellaneous services. Deadline: A letter of interest notifying TxDOT of the provider's interest in the contract will be accepted by fax at (512) 936-0970, or by hand delivery to TxDOT, Texas Turnpike Authority Division, Attention: Anna Ramirez, 125 E. 11th Street, Austin, Texas or by mail addressed to 125 E. 11th Street, Austin, Texas 78701-2483. The provider is responsible for verifying that the TxDOT contact person has received the LOI. Letters of interest will be received until 3:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, March 25, 2008.
