Before.
Behind the house, one end of the garage shed has a work room (laundry) that's going to become a storeroom. A 4x12 section of second floor will be added along this back side to provide additional storage space. (09.22.01) |

In-Work.
Shelves and old wall boards are being removed to clean out rat nests. Before the new walls go up the holes to the outside will be patched with metal flashing. (09.22.01) |

End of Day.
Ready for additional studs and nailers required to accommodate sheets of 3/8-inch plywood that will be the new walls. All of the walls will be insulated. (09.22.01) |

While the walls will be wood the ceiling/roof will have insulation batts held into place with chicken wire. (09.22.01) |

End of Day.
Someday this may once again be a workroom, but for the near future it will hold the dozens and dozens of boxes that have traveled from Texas to California and back. Many of the boxes haven't been opened for three or four years! (09.22.01) |
