Rain Creek Farm

With so much rain for so long our grass got way out of control. After a couple rounds of cutting David raked up big piles of grass that required hauling off.  (07.04.04)

San Antonio Express News

David and Linda made the news today! Labeled "Republican activists" in the first paragraph, this story appeared on the front page of the Sunday Metro section in San Antonio. David gave a series of interviews to this reporter last week as he worked on the article (see sidebar quote below). (07.04.04)

Schulenburg

Linda is very pleased with the great press we got today! To get a copy of the San Antonio newspaper we had to drive to Schulenburg. Now it's time to eat and David suggested the Oakridge Smokehouse in Schulenburg. (07.04.04)

The German food was WONDERFUL! David and Linda both ordered sauerbraten, German potatos, red cabbage, sauerkraut and rolls. Linda was especially surprised how much she loved the red cabbage (one of David's favorites). (07.04.04)
