The final report from the Rules Committee and Platform Committee is printed and distributed to all of the convention Delegates Friday morning. During the second General Session the rules and platform were debated and some amendments were made. No changes were made to the Trans-Texas Corridor plank in the Platform. The Platform was officially adopted. (06.04.04)

State Comptroller of Public Accounts Carole Strayhorn addressed the convention. A couple hours later David and Linda met with Ms. Strayhorn at a suite in her hotel and briefly discussed the Trans-Texas Corridor. We were put in contact with a staffer and look forward to continuing the discussion. (06.04.04)
