Tuesday evening David and Linda attended a folk music program
at the City of Columbus Nesbitt Memorial Library. Santiago Jimenez, Jr. is the
son of one of the great pioneers of Tex-Mex conjunto music. Playing his father's
music Santiago has been nominated three times for Grammy Awards, has played
Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Kennedy Center. He played several of his
father's own songs including "De
San Antonio a Penjamo."
