These Buttercup flowers open each morning as soon as they are in direct sunlight.  Likewise, they close mid-afternoon when the shade of the trees remove the sunlight that keeps them open.  (08.03.03)

Over the weekend David installed new wiring in the farmhouse for telephones, answering machine, facsimile machine, video controls and computers.  In addition this reconditioned Automatic Electric wall telephone was installed on the built-in cabinet between the kitchen and dining room.  (08.03.03)

This is a fully functional circa 1944 Automatic Electric model AE50 telephone.  The Bakelite wall telephone has been known as a "Shirley Temple," "jukebox," or "tombstone" telephone.  (08.03.03)
