I don't remember what this bush was called, but it stood about five feet tall with these wonderful fiery orange blooms.  (07.26.03)

Linda checks out all the plants in 98 degree Texas sunshine.  You can see those fiery orange blooms over Linda's shoulder next to the corrugated metal fence.  (07.26.03)

Linda greets Karen upon her return from New York City.  Karen will stay in Austin for about a month before returning to New York to start an internship with commercial and fine art photographer Jeff Harris.  This was one of Karen's instructors at the Tisch School of the Arts (NYU) this summer.  Mr. Harris' clients include Vogue, IBM, Schick and others.  Last March Mr. Harris mounted a solo exhibition at the June Bateman Gallery in New York City titled, Photosynthesis.  The rest of Karen's bags didn't make the connection in Dallas and were delivered later Saturday night to Rain Creek Farm.    (07.26.03)
