We mourn the passing today of our friend and colleague Doug Holmes. Doug was a universally recognized expert in fire cause determination and investigation. He was a retired Houston firefighter and Senior Captain who owned and operated a fire investigation firm he began in League City. David worked with Doug on a number of fire investigations while David was Fire Marshal in Nassau Bay, Texas. David appointed Doug as Nassau Bay's Assistant Fire Marshal during those years. Doug was later appointed as Nassau Bay's Fire Marshal when David left the position that he held concurrently with that of City Manager. He will be missed
personally and professionally. |
