David and Linda attended another Delegate's luncheon where the new TML President was installed.  The keynote speaker was Peter C. Lemon, Congressional Medal of Honor recipient who gave a long and stirring patriotic speech.  (10.18.02)

Fort Worth Stock Yards

This gateway was built in 1910 and marks the west entrance to the Fort Worth Stock Yards.  (10.18.02)

This is the North Side Coliseum, now called the Cowtown Coliseum.  The building was completed in 1908 and in 1918 they held the world's first indoor rodeo here.  This is also where bull riding was introduced as a rodeo event.  (10.18.02)

Tonight there was a rodeo being held in the Cowtown Coliseum.  This photograph was taken by David through a transom window above one of the front entry doors.  Enrico Caruso, Bob Wills, Bob Hope, Doris Day, Elvis Presley and Theodore Roosevelt have all appeared in this coliseum.  (10.18.02)

David and Linda had dinner here at Cattlemen's Steak House.  This restaurant opened in 1947 and is one of Fort Worth's most popular eateries.  (10.18.02)
