David finally got this antique transom window installed over the bathroom doorway.  Trim will be added after the door frame is complete.  (08.04.02)

Yesterday we received about an inch of rain.  We needed it, but that means lots of mowing.  (08.04.02)

David has started installing sheet metal skirting around the Scheel House.  At least until he ran out of screws this afternoon.  This skirting will be painted barn red.  (08.04.02)

Yesterday this cast aluminum rooster arrived from India.  David ordered this in May as a birthday present for Linda.  He never thought that it would arrive in August.  (08.04.02)

The sheet metal screw shortage stopped work on the donkey shelter as well today.  Even though the last wall panel couldn't be attached and the end roof sheet was short a handful of screws, David painted what was there.  (08.04.02)

An air conditioner was installed in one of the living room windows.  This is the first time the 80-year old farmhouse living room has been air conditioned.  Next David will caulk and paint.  (08.04.02)
