Santa Catalina Island - November 7, '99

The Catalina Flyer, our boat from Newport Beach to Avalon, a 75-minute high speed (34 MPH) excursion to Santa Catalina Island.  Linda's smiling face as we leave the dock early on Sunday morning.  (11.07.99)

Catalina Island

Arriving at Avalon Bay with the Casino in the background.  This is Linda's first visit to Santa Catalina Island.  David visited the Island many times while growing up in Southern California.  Several of his visits were aboard the family sailboat Nord Stjärnan. A few trips were aboard the MV Wanda with his neighbor and friend Tom Timmons.   (11.07.99)
