Nassau Bay Police Dept

The City of Nassau Bay incorporated in 1973.  The Police Department was organized in 1975 and officially began at midnight Halloween night 1975.  At 19 David became the police department's very first Reserve Officer (non-paid) in 1977.  By February 1978 he was working four 10-hour shifts per week, often as the only Nassau Bay police officer on-duty.  Nassau Bay's 1980 population was 6,702.
